Dear members of the UN Global Compact Network Germany,

Companies across global markets are navigating a rapidly changing landscape of sustainability due diligence requirements. For complex automotive supply chains, translating these requirements into effective processes can be particularly challenging.

Together with the Responsible Supply Chain Initiative (RSCI), we want to invite you to our joint Sustainable Supply Chains Conference on 11 November 2026 in Berlin:

Shared Responsibility. Collective Action for Sustainable Automotive Supply Chains.

The conference offers a space to exchange, learn from practical approaches and discuss how companies can implement human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) effectively. Together with expert speakers and panelists, we will connect legal developments with practical implementation topics such as audit quality and standardisation, HREDD in high-risk regions, tier-n due diligence, forced labour regulation, children’s rights and stakeholder engagement:
  • How can companies navigate regulatory requirements in complex environments?
  • Where can collective approaches create leverage?
  • How can multi-stakeholder initiatives and practical tools support implementation across audits, risk regions and tier-n supply chains?
Join us on 11 November 2026 to explore these questions together and to shape the future of responsible supply chain governance in the automotive sector.

The conference is a joint offering by the Responsible Supply Chain Initiative (RSCI) and the Sector Dialogue Automotive Industry of the UN Global Compact Network Germany.

It will draw on the complementary strengths of both initiatives, as well as their shared experience in implementing collective action approaches: The Sector Dialogue contributes expertise in multi-stakeholder dialogue, peer learning and HREDD implementation, while RSCI adds sector-specific tools and audit data to support practical implementation.
