UNICEF and the Global Compact are collaborating to develop guidance for businesses to protect and support children’s rights and well-being before, during and after humanitarian crises.
A draft document is now available for public consultation.
Businesses and other stakeholders are called upon to provide feedback by responding to a questionnaire by 8 July 2016. A consultation webinar will be organized on 28 June to brief interested stakeholders on the draft guidance and collect additional feedback. Please register for the webinar here.
The final publication will also feature examples of business policies, practices, projects and/or initiatives developed to address children in humanitarian crises. Please submit concrete case examples by filling out a template here by 8 July 2016.
TeilnehmerInnen erhalten einen Überblick über die Bedeutung von Kinderrechten im Unternehmenskontext und erste Anregungen dazu, wie sie in unternehmerisches Handeln integriert werden können.
