In this workshop, participants will learn how to address these topics when dealing with companies and:

  • Understand why social sustainability and integrity are relevant for their business;
  • Gain a first overview of what is expected from responsible companies with a focus on sustainable supply chain management;
  • Be able to raise awareness for the topic;
  • Get a first overview of where to find more information.


What’s in this event: Contents and formats

The event covers responsible business conduct and integrity and provides an overview on business practice, stakeholder expectations and the current debate around the topic. The underlying frameworks include the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, SDGs and the Global Compact Principles.

This is an interactive format, offering ample opportunities for participants to share experiences and network with their peers. It combines information sessions with structured group exercises, facilitated by experienced trainers.

Who should take this course: Target group

The training is designed for institutions that work with companies on topics like sustainability, responsible business and integrity. This can be business associations, sustainability initiatives, civil society, public sector and other actors.


Participation in the workshop will be free of charge. Please note, that there are only 20 seats available. After a successful assessment, a confirmation email will be sent.
